Helios is a responsive web application designed to show detailed live weather information, yet also allow users to scroll back and forth through time to show rising global temperatures and the dangerous effects of climate change.
Scrolling backwards through time using the "timejump" feature will show temperatures from the same date in past years, and scrolling forward will show the predicted temperature increases along with research articles relating to climate change.

Various gradients are used throughout the interface to mimic the multiple twilight and sunset stages. However, the primary gradient uses shades of red to emphasise the dangers of climate change.
As sunset approaches, the background gradient transitions through multiple light phases relating to each twilight in real-time.
There are 5 light phases in total; golden hour, civil twilight, blue hour, nautical twilight, and astronomical twilight.
Using Photoshop, high-fidelity mockups of all pages and interactions were created following the previous wireframes and colour scheme.
